2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
650 ml bomber. Hazy yellow pour with a medium white head that soon recedes to a film. The aroma features some spent grains and banana. The taste is similar to the aroma; mixed grains, banana, and sour bubble gum. The palate is viscous and a bit oily slick and the carbonation is lively. Finishes medium in duration, dry and a bit sour. Overall: This might have been infected--something just tastes off.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Pacific Liquor: nose is somewhat sweet with a solid base of malts that also allow for a chance of spice or herbs in the faint background. The drink is mellow and extremely well balanced but the flavor is lacking with only a minimal taste of sweetness. The malts in this fall really flat and only suggest a hint of hay or grain wheat, and somehow I am unable to find any evidence of agave nectar in this. That’s too bad since this was my first beer recipe by Aztec Brewing and first impressions always stick with me.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber. Rating #3. Light haze to it, kind of a dark gold color with a white head that clung to the glass pretty well. Sweet wheat aroma, a bit of agave as well. Kind of a soapy bitterness up front, followed by a little bready sweetness. (2546)

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cloudy golden pour with a white head. Grass and herbal aromas up front with some mild floral and agave notes. A bit of bread and wheat sweetness, some sugar, a hint of yeast, and very mild spice. The flavor isn’t bad, but kind of strange. Light agave, some herbs, and a fair amount of grass. Mild fruit and yeast, hints of sugar, and some wheat bread sweetness.
