2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours gold with a creamy white head and a one inch (or so) green chili. My but the aroma is rather strong chili.Med minus body. The flavor is pretty decent, and not at all weak chili. Serrano seems to be a bit earthier than jalapeno. And that seems about all that should be said. Chili.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Drank from a pilsner glass poured from a twelve ounce bottle. A good chile beer, I thought it was alot spicer than a serrano chile. Definitey a good beer!

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer & Beyond.Hazy gold with pepper inside, white head and bubbles. Serano pepper in brine in the nose, followed by sweet fruitiness and a little bread. Hot and peppery sensation in the mouth that conceals cheap lager thatís mildly bitter. Light body and not in the throat.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer & Beyond, Tel Aviv. Clear yellow with no head, with a green pepper in the glass... Aroma of chili, sour olives, herbs. Flavor is lager-ish with chili which itches the tongue, pickles, spicy, faint malty notes. Light carbonation, light body. Quite hot in the tongue and the throat.

This is one for those who just could not get enough Cave Creek Chili Beer back when it was produced, which is another way of saying nobody is going to like this. Donít get me wrong, I love hot, spicy food and these days there are many breweries making fine chili beers that go beyond novelty. Unfortunately, this is neither one of those breweries nor one of those beers. What we have hear is a clear, yellow, headless concoction which is basically a shitty Mexican lager that tastes like someone dumped a couple cans of pickled jalepenos. It is strange, vegetal, earthy and a little bit hot. I at the pepper and it was stringly and very bland (note: yes, I am taking off points for this). So, yeah, I donít think anyone expects this to be good but if you have an inkling that it is horrible, newslash: youíre right!

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
taster @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear, dirty straw color, thin rim head, no lace. Taste might be malt - itís hard to tell due to the suffocating entrance of hot chili peppers. There is no palate. There is no hop bittering. Thereís just a strong dose of heat that lingers so long that it was 10 minutes before I could competently sample and judge the next beer.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pepper and light barley malt aroma. Golden yellow with minimal head. Lightly sweet barley malt and moderately spicy hot pepper flavor. Actually not too bad - hot but not overwhelmingly so.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
This has itís place. Itís a pale lager, but the Serrano chili aroma, flavor (to a slightly lesser extent) & the afterburn makes it way more enjoyable than your average pale lager. Murky pee yellow, otherwise something I wouldnít totally mind having again, though I wonít seek it out. Low-medium heat.
