16 fl oz bottle@fonefan/Brugmansia’s Cnudde tasting, US export bottle. Pours light cloudy yellow with a lacing white head. Light malt spiced aroma. Flavour is mild malty and subdued sweet. Ends with sweet lingering malt flavour. Light yeasty note in addition.

Pours gold w/ a tall froth. Superb hangtime and clasic lace. Aromas of bright, spicey malts. Medium nectar w/ no residual effers at all. Dry and malty w/ a mellow bittering. The finish is bittered midly w/ no offensive nuances. This specimen is very old world but not so rustic. Good balanced flavor yet the stillness turns me away.

UPDATED: JUL 8, 2009 From 99 Bottles of Federal Way, WA. Another purchase of a pale Euro-lager, solely to knock off Romania on the countries list. From the obligatory green bottle, I was poured a nicely clear and rich gold under a (surprise!) smallish white head. Aroma was faint, bit of citrus and what I guessed might be biscuit (I doubt it), but oddly, no hops. Taste was bland but not repulsive, mouthfeel a bit sharp, and finish was tolerable. By no means a good beer. Interesting label - is that Vlad the Impaler I see? That might account for the taste.

Light copper body, thin, but ok head, and lively, carbonated body. Crisp grain flavor with the smell of sweet corn as well. Crisp grain and corn flavor. Clean, refreshing, and decent flavor. A simple refreshing Eastern European lager.

Pours a golden color with a white head. Aroma is of grain and some floral hops. Flavor was actually kind of interesting. Grains at first but that gives way to some spiciness, and has a slight bitter finish.

Very tall head with medium to large bubbles. Dark straw colored body. Typical aroma of eastern European pilsner. Tyipical flavor of one too, on the sweet side of malt. Wouldn’t surprise me they even might have a touch of corn in there too. Slight banana in the aftertaste. Overall a nice clean taste, but nothing I’d go out of my way to get.
