Like a bready pilsner - a German pilsener? unclemattie (1556), Georgia, USA Jun 16, 2008 1 pint bottle. pours clear golden, thin white head. Sweet aroma, some herbal hops, some band-aid. Flavor of rich malt. Nice lager complexity. A well done pale lager. Medium bodied. RCL (999), Boston, Massachusetts, USA May 25, 2008 Sweet aroma. Flavor is very light, a bit sweet with vegetal notes. Not too bad. DMRz (138), Durham, North Carolina, USA May 25, 2008 Tan clear color with a short white head. Aromas of grass, banana, and sweet malt. Taste is quite metallic, with herbal malt, white sweet corn, and a very sweet finish. I suppose I should rate this higher, since according to my Romanian friend this was quite a treat during the communist era, with people forming lines just to get this...however since I am not living under a communist regime, this beer deserves a solid 2.4. Drinkable.
