caesar (2498), Zeist, Netherlands Jul 23, 2008 Bottled. Cloudy brown color, short brown head. Aroma of grinded coffee beans, mocha, chocolat, hint of peat. Malty taste, hopyy bitterness, hint of sourness. Malty aftertaste. Only slight sweet. Very nice brew, especially for such low ABV.

Lightly burned malt and vanilla in the aroma. Medium body with lots of hard roasted malt, fruit and vanilla and vitamin-C. Rather bitter finish. 190608 jerohen (1465), Bussum, Netherlands Jul 19, 2008 Dutch tasting session Bunnik. Bottled. Opaque brown coloured. Roasted malts, barley, coffee, peat, iodine and chocolate in aroma, very nice! Bittersweet flavour that slowly evolves. Appears stronger than its ABV suggests. A beer with a fantastic aroma and ok flavour. bierkoning (4716), La Tropica, Netherlands Jul 19, 2008 Bottle @ DTS. Deep dark brown color. Milk chocolate and a touch of licorice and yeast in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor, on the thin side. Yeasty, milk chocolate, licorice, liquid sweets. Cola and raisinny notes. Nice, maybe a bit too sweet.
