Bottle. Blind tasting. A black beer with a beige head. The aroma is of yeast, earth, roasted malt, licorice and grass. so is the taste. My gues is it´s a Bøgedal, there is some stabel notes in there somewhere. Light body with a dry roasted finish.

Jul 11, 2008 0.75 l bottle. Dark brown color with thick creamy head, lots of yeast flocs. The aromas of chocolate, floral-fruity hops salty licorice and orange. The flavor is sweet with salty licorice, chocolate, some coffee, some yeasty notes, orange and lemon. Tasty.

Jul 11, 2008 Bottled. Very deep rubyish amber colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, some fruits, vanilla and licorice. Flavour is sour wood, some roast and chocolate. Mild notes of yeast too.

Clear dark brown color with a average to large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, caramel, chocolate, coffee, dusty, ion. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Bitternes is coffee and hop bitter. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (140508)
