May 12, 2008 50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a redish glare and a tan head. Slowly collapsing. Light breadish and mild roasted aroma. Flavour is mild roasted and light breadish. Sweet yet not overly so. Ends with a mild breadish note.

Jun 21, 2008 Beige, huge dense head over dark mahogany beer. Roasted, but fresh malt, dry black roasted barley, smoked sausage en bread aromas. Sweet, with a definite Pumpernickel flavour. Actually nice. Sweet, in a bready, not excessive way. Malt & dark malts. Light but nowhere empty, grist slickness. Light and actually great in its style!
