Jul 5, 2008 Cask-conditioned at the King of Wessex (JDW), Bath 5/7/08. Pale amber with a slight white head. Caramel aroma with a touch of earthy hops. Flavour was slightly syrupy with some fruit and a warming alcohol finish. Ok.

Jun 16, 2008 Handpulled cask at JDW Watford. Light brown with short lived white head. Quite sweet with little balancing hop characture. I’ve had better from this brewery.

May 31, 2008 Pint on tap at Weatherspoons, Hereford. No head. Sweet, but smooth beer. Strong in flavour but I found it too sickly. Not to impressed with this one.

May 30, 2008 Cask in the counting house. Aroma is pale sweet malts, some perfumy hop character. Taste is again sweet pale malts, theres some bittering but generally speaking kind of been there done that.

May 30, 2008 A Mes rate: Cask at Baker St ’Sporks.
Clean gold with a brown tinge. Not much happening in the aroma. A bit of hop and some sweet pineapple notes. Lots of bready malt in the flavour with some more pineapple, very slight marzipan and a tiny hint of tingly bitter hops in the finish. Pretty dull.
