500 ml bottle poured into a teku glass. Pours a ruby red with a pink head of thin foam that fizzles out quickly. The aroma has a lot of beery and spice character. Taste is fruity, berry sweetness with just a bit of spice coming through in the background. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Really good mead.

An incredible fruit beer/mead here! Pours just like blackberry juice, with a hint of raspberry fringes.... beautiful, with a reduced head that leaves no lacing. The nose is of pure blackberries and honey, with a light hint of cloves. Flavors back this up substantially, with a large wallop of blackberries, some light honey sweetness, and a dark fruit that closes with a numbing hint of clove. A juicy mouthfeel combines with an emulsified honey-textured palate. The slightest hint of subtle carbonation combines to provide the perfect body for an aperitif or dessert offering. A truly gorgeous fruity mead here. Again, just GORGEOUS!
