Pours a very dark ruby, almost coagulated blood in color. A small head on a vigorous pour quickly recedes. The nose is of blackberries and light spice (clove). The mouthfeel is light, as it should be, but manages to be smooth and almost slick. The flavor profile is outstanding - complex, but balanced, and bursting in flavor. It begins with a burst of sweet blackberry which rides over a honey sweetness. It then progresses to a bit of tartness over a mild clove. The finish is smooth, yet a bit dry, and leaves you with a lingering flavor that is all encompassing. Outstanding is the only way to describe this 6% sparkling mead.

Small bubbly shortlasting head, nice deep red color. Aroma is slightly dry fruity, rich red berries, honey, hay, grass, soda powder, weeds, cloves, hints of citrus. Taste is slightly fresh fruity, red berries, grass, cloves, honey, berry skin, cherry stones, weeds, honey. Medium bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Nice.

Appearance: Deep Ruby red color, clear,no head. Aroma: honey, grass, strawberry, raspberry. Taste: plum, strawberry, BlackBerry, . Similar to flat Champagne. Feel is sticky. Light carbonation. Refreshing up to about 5-6 oz, then too much sweet. They should make these bottles 8-10 oz instead of 16. Fun. Not great. Limited.

I really enjoyed this. Pours a dark crimson. Aromas of tart blackberry, cinnamon and clove, as well as citrus. All the ingredients sing in this. Really great sour, sweet, spiced flavours. I think this is great. Smooth and very easy to drink.

500ml bottle (Alus Celle, Riga)
Huge clove aroma from a distance, closer up there’s a tonne of honey. Dark, but flat. Flat and sweet in the mouth. Total freaking blackberry overload in the taste, but the clove is close behind. Almost numbing clove to be honest. Sweet and flat, and berry overload. Quirky, but I so much prefer the Polish/Lithunian/English meads.

500ml bottle (thanks FatPhil). Dark deep blue color. Small size, blueish head, stays as a ring. Massive clove, x-mas spices, blackberries, honey, sweet notes in aroma. Blackberry, clove, juicy, sweet in taste. Juicy blackberry and cloves in aftertaste. Juicy.

Reddish color with a minimal and quickly diminishing head. Aroma has notes of cherries and slightly orange. Flavor is fruity with cherries and berries notes, vinous character with some smokyness. Slightly sweet final.

500ml bottle. Aroma of heavy spice in the dark red pour. Taste is a good mix of clove, orange, Berry, and honey. Reminds me of a mulled wine.

A dark red wine color, no head. Smells as you would expect, blackberry, orange zest, clove, honey, wax. Light sweet red wine tastes, blackberry, honey. Dry, finishes like a red wine. A decent light mead to have with dinner or after for dessert. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This poured a dark red to purple with a pinkish head. Aroma was of blackberries, light honey and some spice. Flavor similar, more blackberry forward, pushing on the lines of alcopop but refreshing.
