Tasting – The Perfect Pour. Clear still dark gold (great legs swirl on the glass). Rich honeyed butterscotch nose rides undercurrents of vanilla wood, bourbon and orange floral-like notes. Warming sweet orange blossom flavors expertly balance over notes of bourbonized vanilla oak and touches of toffee brittle throughout. Full bodied and slick on the palate. As a true mead fan (though I don’t get to try them often enough), this one stands head and shoulders above anything I have experienced to date. Awesome job B. Nektar crew. Bottle from Simon. This beer was hot as shit. Nostrils really got a fill of ultra boozey, aromas and tase of mettalic perfumey notes, with bananna bourbon, and some orange honey. Meads arent my thing but this was good. I still like the zombie killer better from these guys.

Pours yellow with no head.
Aroma is dry honey not as sweet as expected, vanilla and "orange" like.
Flavour is honey, ripe fruit, vanilla and a hint of bourbon and oak. Very pleasant and not cloying.

Bottle. Trade from monsterzero. Pours clear golden. Oranges, light citrus, honey and light bourbon aroma. A mellow feeling. Some wood. Ripe fruit, bourbon, honey, candy, wood and some sweet berries. Very good and mellow.

Pours gold into a snifter. Still with no head. Honey and oak aromas. Thick with sweet honey and orange citrus upfront turning to bourbon in the lasting finish.

(375ml bottle thanks to bu11zeye, tasted alongside 20 total meads) gold/amber pour with nice legs. Nose of vanilla, bourbon, barrel, sweet honey. Taste of alcohol, vanilla, bourbon, waffles, brown sugar, very flavorful! Awesome, cinnamon in the finish. Excellent palate linger.
