COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A slight variation on the Chocolate Strawberry Love (Batch 83.3). Cacao nibs were used in place of an extract for this version, giving it much more complexity. The blend of fresh strawberries, honey, and chocolate is decadent and addicting. Share a bottle of this rare delight with someone special.

Courtesy of my sister, ratebeer’s 15_2_Kuhnhenn. It pours up crystal clear rusty to copper with a modestly thick legginess. The aroma offers up dry coco nibs thickly rimmed by earthy smokiness and then thinner rings of strawberry fruit. The taste is similar with earthy smoky nearly charred coco nibs followed by somewhat tart fruit berry notes. There’s a black tea like sensation that arrives with a brief honey sweetness before it dries out into the finish. Another tasty one.

Pours a darkish pink/ amber that is still. Smell has a lot of esters and berry with a light note of chocolate. Taste is very much berry and a light note of chocolate with a bit of chemical astringency. Mild honey flavor. Overall a bit harsh in taste and a bit of alcohol heat.

bottle... pours a medium pink, a dark blush wine, no head... smells ridiculous, super fresh strawberries with an accent of chocolate, a bit of bitter cocoa, one of the best smelling drinks I’ve encountered, so balanced and complex, wow... the taste doesn’t not live up, so disappointed as I thought this was going to be epic, a bit of strawberry, lots of bitternes, but then its super generic, chemically and the finish is a terrible metallic chemical aftertaste... what a let down

Bottle purchased at some store in Michigan. Yellow/gold pour with no carbonation and slight legs. Aroma of strawberry, butter and honey. Strawberry and honey flavor with butter and a hint of chocolate. Based on the name I was hoping it would be similar to Chocolate Raspberry Love from Rabbit’s Foot, but the chocolate was very muted in this and not quite what I was hoping for.

Pours amberish in color. Pure berry aroma, a bit astringent in the nose. Nice mixed berry flavors with hints of earthy raw woody chocolate. I liked version one better.
