COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This dry mead is made with the same premium, raw, Florida Orange Blossom honey that we use for our sweet mead. Wonderful citrus aromas dominate and are followed up with smooth honey character and nice acidity. Try pairing this incredibly food friendly mead with your favorite dish.

2012 Colorado Mead Tasting at Armin’s house. Pours a very light, extremely clear, just a touch yellowish appearance with no head. Floral, orange citrusy, sweet, herbal honey, a touch tart aroma. A bit thin, somewhat spicy, light peppermint, floral, potpourri, juicy orange citrusy flavor.

Bottle, poured a clear pale gingerale, aromas and taste were very sweet citrus fruits, honey, apples, cantalope, cinnamon, birch beer, light sambuca, butterscotch aftertaste. Warming as hell, with a dry vinous finish. Meads keep growing on me.

750 ml bottle from Binny’s-South Loop. Pours a clear, super pale gold color and no head. The aroma and flavor are honey, floral notes, grapes, and subtle citrus. Medium-bodied, with a vinous mouthfeel and no carbonation. The orange and floral characteristics sort of meld together in this one more so than in the Sweet version, and it makes for a more vinous character overall without giving those individual aspects much definition. That said, it all comes together smoothly and makes for an easy sipping mead that hit the spot on a warm summer night.

To say this one pours clear is an understatement. I have seen filtered water with more color. In all seriousness very pale with just a touch of yellow. The aromas are crisp and citric. Light orange rind and subtle wood. A touch of alcohol as well. Flavor has a nice citric bite. There is some earthy waxy honey beneath. This one is as dry as any mead I have ever had. Not a huge fan of dry but I still got some nice enjoyment out of this one.
