Originally sampled in June 2014 from a bottle and again later on draft in Destin at The Craft Bar, enjoyed both times. Nice red pour, mild fizz, good legs, seems to stick to the side of the glass - looks nice. Nice aroma, cherry definitely present, maybe a bit of a booze burn, could just be fermented honey, a floral and earthy punch. Awesome flavor, I’m a sucker for cherries, nice cherry flavor, tart/sweet red wines, cherry pie, floral undertones, mild honey. Tasty!

It’s the closest thing you’ll find to mostly-organic fruit punch for adults, and a great intro to B. Nektar’s beverages.

(bottle - 500 ml) Rating #3600. Pinkish pour with a pink hued head. Sweet cherry and honey in the aroma. Lots of cherry in the flavor, but the more tart cherry than the overly sweet cough drop cherry. Smooth and a nice lingering tart finish.

quite brown, slightly muddy appearance. somewhat reddish orange when held to the light. nearly colorless water edge, no legs. aroma is tart cherries, a faint chemical whiff that unfortunately lends a slight "fake" to the fruit, sort of tea-like, some lemon, slight spiciness. berry: straw/rasp. flavor is more berry, definite cherry, honey fairly hidden under the fruit. some spiciness/tangy tart hop flavor, but well short of balancing the high sweetness. low tannin. even as it warms there is a slight chemically/phenolic to the ample fruit. I suppose it could be the hops clashing. nice idea, but not the sum of its parts. sweetness not completely undrinkable, but getting close. even a moderage alcohol level/heat/spiciness would help provide some balance here.
