I think this mead better than the score indicates as it is delicious. The hops give it a citrus component that is rounded out by the honey flavor.

2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle via Michael. Thanks! Pours an almost crystal clear to slightly yellow color with some small bubbles but no real head. Aroma is champagne and cat litter, gross. Taste is fairly nice with a light sweet honeydew, slight honey, dry finish and some bitter to faded hop. Not horrible if you don’t smell it but that smell just pushes it over the top into "gross"

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours clear with a white head and sweet, fruity aroma. Taste is sweet, of honey, fruit, sugar, and light hops with a bittersweet finish. Different type of mead, odd mix

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Pours an absolutely clear off yellow color. Nose is sweet and slightly tart, amazed by the clarity. Taste is bitter sweet and astringent, not very flavorful. Finish is off as well, fruity and bitter sweet, This will teach me NOT to buy a beer / mead without checking ratebeer first. Ugh Quaff Score 4 / 10

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: JAN 22, 2015 Bottle: Super clear, almost like water with a slight yellow and green-ish tinge. Almost no head, just a white collar. Aroma is some danky hops, light citrus and some mild honey. Slight dirty, earthy character. Taste is sweet honey with citric and grassy hops with a light peach and citrus character. Pretty tasty, like a sweet pale ale with honey.
