2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Champane’s. Pours clear and nearly white (like white wine). Aroma of fruity hops and honey. Sweet whtie wine taste, with some honey. Lacking sufficient IBUs to really call this IPA-style. I was really looking forward to an actually hoppy mead, but this didn’t really deliver. Thin body. Fine overall; much like a sweet sparkling white wine.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottled, no pour. Floral and semi-sweet aroma. Sweet and mildly dry start leads to very floral finish. Think of how dragonfruit are, they start sweet and swallow with a delicate floral taste. Only this doesn’t taste like dragonfruit. Feel is a little thicker than I prefer but still a good choice.

2.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 10/20
Drinkable but not great. I was okay with hops and honey, what I didn't care for was the carbonation or the dry mead back flavor. It was an interesting one timer but nothing I need to drink drink again.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours very light yellow...almost clear as water. Aroma is grassy/grapefruity...almost boozy champagne too. Flavor is like carbonated grass with a hint of champagne... hints of kiwi. Mouthfeel is light and has mild carbonation...finish is kiwi/grassy.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
50cl bottle pours a crystal clear, very light straw gold, looks like Sprite. Zero head. Nose is honey right up front, some citrus, mostly a bit of smelly feet, soap, some honey comb, lemon lime soda. Flavor is the same, it’s an odd mix of honey and lime, almost like a funky Sprite, some perry too. Medium, slightly bitter finish.

2.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Purchased at Binnys in Chicago, IL; enjoyed at home tired after a Monday work day, playing on my new computer. I must say this is an extremely intriguing beverage, and I’m not sure if I like it, but I am intrigued. Appearance is a weird golden green, clear, with a very small white rim that is bubbly. First non-marketing gimmick green alcoholic beverage I’ve had. Aroma is a mixture of citrus hops, honey, and wine yeast, actually a rather unpleasant smell. Taste goes down like a cider with honey / mead notes as well as a hop flavor, but it doesn’t have the same bittering effects that hops adds to beer. It’s more like that beer additive flavor, like it tastes like hops, but it doesn’t feel like hops. In all honesty it’s not bad, but it feels like I’m not drinking an alcoholic beverage, rather a weird potion derived from a secondary world. Strange, strange beverage.
