Bottle. Cheers to Adam for the pour. The appearance is light gold with a tiny whit head. The nose is strong white grape. Some musty muscat. A bit of honeyed croissant. Grape jellies. The taste is more white grape. Quite sweet. Notes of honey. Hints of herb garden, some mint leaf. Hints of tropical pineapple fruits. Medium body. Syrupy. Sweet indeed. Overall, pretty cool stuff.

This was super interesting. Pours a very very light clean pale color with a tint of green. Foamy sticky white head that dissipates quickly. Very nice nose, light honey like sweetness with a persistent fresh hop character and notes of citrus rind (orange most notable). Light body and dry finish. A little bit astringent and green on the finish. Very interesting though......

Bottle from Liquor outlet. Pours light yellow with light carbonation. Big leafy hoppiness on the nose. Lots of lemony citrus on the tongue. Feels like it has a nice balance to it. Dries out the mouth on the finish. Itís different but itís another solid offering from B. Nektar.

Bottle shared with DiarmaidBHK (Thanks!) - so this is an interesting mix. From my experience, mead people and IPA people tend not to overlap. When I heard, IPA, I thought, "oh theyíll have ruined the mead" and from reading comments, IPA folks are thinking the opposite. I think itís a balanced mix, meaning that its hoppy bitter and mead sweet, but not something that would appeal to most folks. The bitterness becomes more pronounced as it goes on. Overall, I get the negative reviews because its not what I was expecting, but I thinks folks are being overly harsh.

Draft at soup spoon (from backlog). Smells like an appley IPA. No head and smooth texture. Way too sweet for me. The IPAness was completely dominated by the mead.

Intriguing aroma and thin yellow pour with a too sweet to be hoppy taste and mild mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clear pale yellow from the bottle with thin ring of white foamy head. Aroma is pure sweet white wine, taste follows with a hint of earthiness. This tastes like a Riesling repackaged, I donít think they hit what they were going for.

Bottle. Pours a clear pale yellow. No head. Aroma of honey. Taste is of piney hops meeting sweet honey. Honestly is kind of a weird combo. Leaves an interesting dry somewhat bitter finish. Medium palate. Mild bitter mouthfeel. I was very curious about how this would turn out, but the anticipation was better then the reality. I didnít think the bitter & sweet worked very well. In the end it is interesting, but not genius.

This is definitely a weird combo. First the aroma was mildly sweet with some resiny hop character. Later the resiny aroma is more prevalent and the sweetness is not apparent. The flavor has some syrupy tastes but not any major honey. Pear flavors are the major flavor. The bitterness is apparent but not overbearing. The overall beer is the weird where sometimes it is pear and piny hops but other times it is resiny and bitter

Pours a nice golden color with a mild head. Very sweet honey taste with mild hop taste that. The two do not blend well. I would not recommend for the price. I fell a little robbed.
