500ml Bottle. Thanks Sean! Aroma initially is intensely grassy and vegetal, loaded with fresh hop pumpkin character and a few honey florals. Flavors develop similarly with some sharpness on the tongue and then a lot of the green vegetal. Interestingly, I let half of this sit out for a few hours and came back to it and it had opened a lot then being dominated by a pithy fresh grapefruit character and having lost the chlorophyll greenness. It does have an enjoyable soda pop likeness that reminds me of some Moscato d’Asti that I’ve had, in a very light, refreshing, flavorful way, not in an overly sweet and shallow way. Interesting stuff. I think I expected more bitterness and traditional IPA hop flavor and aroma, but what’s here is fun. I just think that it might not be best to call it IPA-style, since it seems far far far away from IPAs.

Overall-very interesting it might not work for most people but I like it a lot,
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Fukito (682) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - MAY 14, 2013
Clear, pale straw color with some greenish hues and no head. Aroma is flowery honey with some citrus/ grassy hopiness. Flavor is a mix of herbalness and flowerness with a little bit of bitternes, gentle bitter aftertaste. Light palate, refreshing.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 EithCubes (4199) - New Jersey, USA - MAY 11, 2013
500mL bottle, intrigued by the idea. Nose out of the bottle is rubbery-astringent with honey, apple cider, floral/clover notes, stale air. Out of the glass it’s closer to rotting fruit. Ultra-pale body, essentially clear, with a short head that fizzles out. Taste is extremely sweet with medium bitterness that has a slow rise, lightly rubbery. Clover honey overtones are nice here but the hops are weak and a little dirty. Semi-crisp (well, meadish) fullish body and gentle, slow warming. I’m happy to say that the stale/off-flavors from the nose didn’t make it into the mouth, and that some hops oiliness did. Think of it as a mead and you won’t be disappointed; expect a beer or even a mead-beer fusion and, well ... .
2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 maxwelldeux (2226) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - MAY 8, 2013
Bottle. Pours a crystal clear light color with just a tinge of yellow in there and no head. Nose is sweet with some honey tones, but just a bit of a bite in there. Taste is an odd mix of sweet with a hint of bitter on the back end. It’s an odd combination that I’m not a fan of.

Very clear color---almost water like. Minimal head and body. Sweet taste up front with some lemon in the middle. Touch of hop bitterness in the aftertaste.

500ml pours like white wine. Honey and apple aroma. Not the best taste, a bitter white wine.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 tgncc (2290) - Bellmore, New York, USA - APR 27, 2013
From AC Beer Fest 2013. The aroma is honey, apple, piss. The appearance is clear gold, white head. The flavor is honey, citrus, pine. the finish is hops, mainly earthy and pine. Medium in body. Meads aren’t usually my thing, but, this was very interesting, different, good.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 RABinVA (689) - Fredericksburg, Virginia, USA - APR 26, 2013
Bottle into a snifter. Pours like green gatorade watered down with tonic water or something. Like pale Mt. Dew. Aroma is lightly floral and sweet but with a bit of dirt and eggy sulfur. Taste is the same. There’s this weird egg/sulfur thing that hangs over this mead. An interesting experiment, but it doesn’t really work.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Narnad (1342) - Wonder Lake, Illinois, USA - APR 24, 2013
Pours a very clear yellow color. Lots of hops in the nose but more along the lines of hop oil, light citrus notes sweet honey and a light floral note at the end. Flavor is bad in my opinion. Tastes like chemical hops oil, white wine like flavor, mild sweetness. Body is very light and watery. Blah meed overall. Too much of an off chemical flavor which is pretty disappointing because I thought this would of worked very nicely.
