Bottle. Pours a deep red hued color with some purple tones as well. The aroma is really nice, the cherry pops out of this right up in front. Starts with a nice sweet cherry flavor that then transitions to a tarter almost cranberry like note. Sweet goodness. Some alcohol notes in the end that somewhat take away from the fruit flavors. This is one not to miss if you are a mead fan. Fruity heaven.

Pours a beautiful red with no head. Chery, honey, very very very slight hops. A great tart dry and cherry taste, with a very sugary and sweet finish. The perfect beer to polish off the evening. Haters grab your two-buck-chuck and add some miller lite ya dummies! Another well done B. Nektar!

Nice red pour. Aroma of cherries, blackberries, something a bit yeasty and dank, some cool hops. Flavor is sweeet/tart/some hop essence. This is damn good!

Pours brilliant red with a thin ring of pink bubbles. Aroma is Huge fresh cherries. Flavor is also huge cherry, but with a crisp tartness. body is light & crisp, with a clean finish.

Bottle. Pours a deep ruby red with no head whatsoever. Aroma has a really nice cherry note with a nice sweet honey note and just a hint of hoppiness. Flavor has a nice slightly tart cherry note that combined really nicely with the dry honey notes.

Bottle shared MrPickles...thanks Andy! - Pours ruby red with a thin ring of bubbles. Nose is deep, dark cherry, lots of baking spice, muted honey sweetness, and not really any hops. Taste is the same--big pungent, sweet cherry juice, light baking spice, honey on the finish, and again--no sign of the hops. A bit of sharp, spicy bite on the finish. Not sure if that’s the alcohol or maybe the hops coming through. Slick and smooth with no carbonation. Awesome stuff.

Bottle from James. Pours a burgundy red wine color with no head or lace. Aromas of cherry, vanilla, cinnamon, apple skins, brown sugar, and soil. Taste is sweet honey coated with tart cherry, vanilla, and earthy wildberries. A little boozey for the 12 percent. Very solid mead.

OMG! Pours to a ruby body. This mead was a delight! Sampled at GTMW, this mead was basically a cherry juice concoction that will get you really drunk. The aroma was of cherry juice and nice honey. The flavor was a really easy to drink fermented cherry juice and honey wine. I should have had another sample of this! Smooth palate that hides the ABV.

Pours a deep burgundy-red (very much like a red wine) with a thin pink head. The aroma is cherries & yeast. Smells sour. Taste is completely opposite! Black cherries sweetened with sugar and maybe something citrusy. For some reason it makes me think of orange blossoms. Very viscous - it coats your tongue. This could be the fabled ambrosia.? Wow!

UPDATED: DEC 20, 2011 bottle...imperial funky monky. pours a clear ruby with mild carbonation and minimal to no head. beautiful sweet cherry nose with a touch of spicy hops, cinnamon, and some delicate honey. awesome...i really cannot believe how powerful the cherry comes across in the flavor as well...tart, yet sweet and fresh cherry juice comes rushing forward, with a subtle honey backbone...
