We’ve taken the traditional Arnold Palmer and meadified it. "Dry hopped" black tea with honey and fresh squeezed lemon juice. Maybe we should can this one so we can bring it to the golf course.

Backlog rating. Keg at CPK, London. It pours a hazy golden color with no head. Aroma is sweet with notes of honey, apricots, green tea, black pepper. Taste is also sweet with more apricot marmalade, orange peel, honey, flowers and black pepper. Medium bodied with very soft carbonation. Quite nice

Foam gone in secs; veiled orangeish liquid with some faint floating inclusions, very finely carbonated. Very clear honey noe, faint sourish note, not identifyable, maybe lemon (confirmed by the label). More honey, honingbollen and again a lemony acidity. Flowery, chamomille, something aking to both sweet and toasted malts or porridge. Certain honeyslickness, alleviated by the acidity that is more than just the CO² (which is pretty low, anyway). Not my ideal, but I’m sure many people would love this.

the tea, honey and lemon are all in your face in this one. quite an amazing and power packed flavor and nose for a 6% mead. Really refreshing, if a touch sweet.

500 ml bottle from Cappy’s. Light yellow pour. Some big lemon drop. Honey. Mead. For sure.

Tap at the source. Pours orange, slight white head. Aroma is lots of black tea leaves. It straight up smells like tea. Flavor is similar. Also, a sour white grape note that sort of dries out your mouth.

This bottled Mead from a bottle shop poured a head of frothy medium to large sized dark clear colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a uncarbonated hazy light orange brown colored body and a poor lacing. The mild aroma was honey. The crisp mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start mediumly tingly at the finish with a lingering sweet aftertaste. The ok flavor contained notes of sweet honey and breads. An OK brew just nothing special.

500ml bottle from Mikkeller webshop. Hazy golden colour, shortlived white foam head and aroma of honey. Flavour is honey, sweet with a melon note and hints of lemon and tea. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, dry finish with lingering honey taste. Interesting, quite drinkable.

Draught at Haket on July 24, 2015.
Hazy golden color, very small white head. Sweet, berries, honey scent. Acidic, lemon taste. Lemon aftertaste, also honey. Fizzy mouthfeel, no bitterness, light tart finish.

Bottle (thanks FatPhil!). Pours dark golden without head. Aroma is sweet and sour, lemon and honey. Flavor is sweet with some sour notes, citrus, black tea, honey, chloride. Finish is dry. Overall: weird one, but I rather like it.
