3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at the source. Pours orange, slight white head. Aroma is lots of black tea leaves. It straight up smells like tea. Flavor is similar. Also, a sour white grape note that sort of dries out your mouth.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
This bottled Mead from a bottle shop poured a head of frothy medium to large sized dark clear colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a uncarbonated hazy light orange brown colored body and a poor lacing. The mild aroma was honey. The crisp mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start mediumly tingly at the finish with a lingering sweet aftertaste. The ok flavor contained notes of sweet honey and breads. An OK brew just nothing special.

500ml bottle from Mikkeller webshop. Hazy golden colour, shortlived white foam head and aroma of honey. Flavour is honey, sweet with a melon note and hints of lemon and tea. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, dry finish with lingering honey taste. Interesting, quite drinkable.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle (thanks FatPhil!). Pours dark golden without head. Aroma is sweet and sour, lemon and honey. Flavor is sweet with some sour notes, citrus, black tea, honey, chloride. Finish is dry. Overall: weird one, but I rather like it.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft @ CCB Cider & Mead.

3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Fairly clear golden pour with a thin head. Honey and grass dominate the aroma, with some citrus in the background. Tea comes out a little more in the taste, but still mostly honey and citrus. Lively carbonation. A little sweet for my taste, but good nonetheless.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
500 mL bottle, on clearance from the late Hiller’s Market in Northville. Pours a lightly hazy golden amber with a white head. Sweet honey aroma with some herbals and a touch of plasticky aroma. Flavor is sweet honey and herbal, some lemon. Tea kind of figures into the finish, but not much. I’m not really into this one, but then I don’t like tea either. Probably wouldn’t have picked it up, even on clearance, if I had read the label further.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Golden to light orange in color. Diminished ecru colored head. Aromas of clover honey, mild tea, and stale grass. Not sure why, but it works and is quite fitting. Sweet start with a near cider thought. Mild tea and light honey. Green tea linger. I have put off trying this for some time, thinking I would not like this. While I’m not fully enamored with this, it is nice variation of a mead.
