COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We’ve taken the traditional Arnold Palmer and meadified it. "Dry hopped" black tea with honey and fresh squeezed lemon juice. Maybe we should can this one so we can bring it to the golf course.

Hazy golden colour. Tastes like iced lemon tea with honey. Not my cup of tea.

Acquired in a trade. Looks like a hazy brown sweet tea. No head. Smells like a lemon tea, nothing much else. no sweetness at all. tastes just like regular lemon tea. even the mouthfeel is there. this is so weird. you get a honey sweetness. lots of lemon, black tea. very interesting. I could drink a lot.

Hazy gold. Aroma of dried tea leaves. Flavor of tea with lemon, raw honey, with a bitter, dry finish. Good stuff.

On tap at Mikropolis, july 26th 2014. Unclear golden body with a tiny white head. tropical fruity aroma with lots of honey, tea leaves, lemon zest. Taste of sweet honey, tropical fruits, works great I think, unusual for me who never has a mead, but this was a pleasant surprise.

Hazy orange amber body, no head. This is exactly what it says on the label. Honey wine with tea and lemon juice. Aroma is flower honey with lemon notes. Taste is sweet lemon tea with some hints of spice. A bit too sweet for my taste. Too much honey?

Keg at CASK. It pours cloudy orange with a minimal head. The nose is soft, fruity, red apple, lemon peel, honeyed fruits, pear and earth. The taste is smooth, lemon peel, peach, apricot, honey, red apple, earthy black tea, lightly bitter with a drying finish. Medium body, light carbonation and slightly sticky mouth-feel. Nice balance and rather drinkable. Decent.

On tap at the Brick Store Pub. Light, gold color, with a small, bubbly, white head. The aroma is strong honeycomb (clover, sugar, and beeswax), with some lemonade, raspberry, and ginger. Very sweet, with a light, dry sourness, and a touch of bitterness. Surprisingly well balanced for a mead. Medium body, syrupy, sticky, and chewy. Overall, this is an excellent, complex, and interesting mead.

Draft - Sweet rich honey. Cloudy gold with no head. Lemony sweetness with a honey finish, I don’t get the hop profile.

500ml bottle. Poured a orange golden color with a very wispy small head. Aroma was black tea notes, crisp lemon citrus, with dry honey notes. Flavor was sweet, with a decent amount of tea. Strange, but enjoyable. Really is a bit like an Arnold Palmer.

Sampled at Beer Camp 2014 @ Navy Pier (Chicago, IL). Pours a hazy orange golden hue, a nice sun tea glow with minimal whitish head, sits small and dissipates largely. Aromas are distinct lemon and tea, touches of honey and tart lemon juice. Initial shows some firmer lemon juice, sweet honey as a lemonade effect takes hold. Middle shows more tea, earthy and woody, a bit bitter as it works into the fold. Plays well with the refreshing lemon elements. A bit tart and summery, this goes down too easy for it’s ABV girth.
