Bottle thanks to Brian. Pours a clear orange with small white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strong apple juice, wine, honey. Thin mouth, jammy apple, honey, light booze, very good.

8/13 bottle from FlandersNed-thanks, Steve. ~2 years old now. Nice rose color, light carbonation. Fruity nose of apple, cherry, perfumy honey. Some rustic cherry flesh, sweet apple and honey, boozy. Good but found it disjointed with some off character at some points. Prefered the regular.

500 ml bottle poured into a Spiegelau tulip. Bottled sometime in 2014, bottle date code of 274 07 14. Clear golden orange. Aromas of whiskey, apples, cinnamon and spices, some booze. Tastes of apples, light cherries, whiskey, honey, vanilla, spices. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Semi-syrupy mouthfeel. Pretty delicious.

Powerful stuff. Like zombie killer kicked up a notch. If you taste hard you can get a small hint of rye on the finish...... It’s pretty great.

Very good but strong mead. Great aroma and it tastes like the original zombie killer but with a bit more whiskey tinge to it.

500ml bottle. Pours Reddish orange with mild carbonation. Aroma is heavy cherry and rye. Taste lives us to the "imperial" status...more cherry, more honey, more heat. Insanely drinkable.

Pours light rust orange. Has a strong honey aroma with white grape/apple juice. Has a strong apple/grape juice taste. A dry and sweet aftertaste.

Orange-red pour with no head. Aroma is cherries. Taste is sweet cherries, faint rye in the background. 12% alc. well hidden. It goes down too smooth actually.

Bottle to snifter. Pinkish-gold with barest white film. Rich apples and cherries. Really good.

Draft in a flight from notes. Deep red with no head. Strong, dark cherry aromas with some tannins. I didn’t get much barrel but it was smoother than Zombie Killer.
