From bottle at Sunset Grill. Pours almost fully clear and golden yellow with no head. Aroma is slight chemical and herbal honey. Herbal honey, chemical and phenolic. Ends dry and floral.

Very pale and slightly hazy. Attractive, very floral honey character with subtle orange notes. Very full body, very sweet honey character with light fruit and hints of orange. Good mead but not really a world beater. Needs more complexity for that.

Bottle sample. Poured clear golden color with good legs. Medium to heavy sweet citrus floral and alcohol aroma that lasted even after the liquid was gone. Medium to full body with a smooth texture. Medium to heavy balanced sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet alcohol warming finish of moderate to long duration. Complex solid mead.

750 mL bottle from Greenlife, Asheville. Pours a clear very pale yellow color. No head, moderate legs. Vinous, winey aroma with notes of citrus and wax. The taste is sweet honey, citrus, faint wood, fruity finish and a bit of hot wax. Medium bodied, fairly hot. Good mead, but I’m still not digging orange blossom honey as base for mead.

Bottle (from multiple sources). A bit of yeast in the bottom. Pours with a pale, clear golden body with amazingly strong legs. Aromas of honey, citrus, oak, cinnamon, alcohol, toasted bread. A bit grassy, orange. Flavors of honey, citrus zest, buttered toast, honey, caramel, earth and oak. Syrupy body, medium (on the upper bounds), and a balanced tannic finish.

Sampled from bottle as a 4 oz pour at the 7venth Sun brewpub, Dunedin FL, on January 19, 2014.
Clear pear color, no head. Wood, sweet, alcohol, honey, some orange scent. Sweet, wood, alcohol taste. Alcohol, light raisin aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, then dry. Leaves some oily legs on the glass, also some firey alcohol in the breath.

Didn’t care for this in the least bit. Had almost a rotten garbage type finish. A bit boozy.

Bottled at World of Beer. Poured very clear, almost watery golden with nothing for head. The aroma was sweet and fresh with orange blossom honey and vanilla well represented.. warm and well-balanced. The flavor found a lot more sweet honey and vanilla with drier honey on the back.. a lot heavier and more profound than the nose.. sweet overall and tasty. Initial sweetness on the palate transitioned well onto the dry-ish finish.. feel and flow were very good. I’d drink this again.
