COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The mead is made with fresh pineapple, pineapple juice, sweetened and unsweetened coconut (slightly toasted), and orange blossom honey. This mead was made as a special test batch. Only 48 375ml bottles were made, and all of them were sold through Cork ’N Ale in Saginaw, MI. The employees at the store call this mead "god juice". The bottles from this small batch have no barcode on the label. A second batch was produced later in the year and can be found at locations on the B. Nektar website.

Bottle. Pours a clear light yellow with 0 head. The aroma is sweet honey, alcohol and coconut with the slightest splash of pineapple juice. The flavor is mostly sweet honey and alcohol up front. After sitting and breathing a bit, the pineapple starts to come out more but the coconut remains mostly hidden. I had higher expectations for this and it fell short.

UPDATED: MAR 26, 2012 Bottle shared with Linh. Pours a orange honey body with no head, no lacing...do meads ever have any lacing or head??? Aroma is honey, perfume, and light coconut. Mouthfeel is thick, honey syrup with notes of honey, pineapple, booze, and light coconut.

Poured a clear yellow color with aromas of fresh cut pineapple and coconut. Originally had this freezing cold, and was not good at all, too much going on, however once it got to room temperature, it tasted like warm pineapple juice, with a touch of coconut. Rather light on the palate, but after each sip, more of the 14% abv was noticeable. I liked this so much, I bought 2 more different meads the next day.
