golden orange. aroma of sweet and over ripe banana with subtle strawberry preserves. flavor of strawberry banana baby food and honey. a bit dry as well. nicely done.

Pours a red color that is still. smells of rich sweet strawberry and a kick of mashed banana. taste is overall sweet strawberry and mild honey notes. banana taste is balanced and tasty. very enjoyable

Bottle at a tasting at James’ place. Pours a slightly hazed golden hued amber. Smells like strawberry banana yogurt straight out of my childhood memories. Not sure if that’s good or not. Medium bodied, banana seeds, a touch of strawberry. Sweet, but not cloying. Gentle finish with more banana. Nice enough.

UPDATED: APR 9, 2012 Bottle shared by Steve at my house. Nose and taste is strong banana with strawberry, honey, vanilla and slight herbal notes. Medium body. Sweet with a slight dry finish.

Bottle… Clear amber mead with ten or so short legs. The aroma is a marriage of dried banana and dried strawberry with a modest herbal honey component and a light dose of ethanol. Full-bodied with a velvety mouthfeel. The flavor is a good balance of sweet fruit, honey and moderate acidity. Finishes tangy, lightly sweet and a touch dry. Bottle courtesy of biggsbowler!

UPDATED: AUG 15, 2011 Pours a nice light orangish hue with tones of red showing through. Wonderful sweet aromas. Lots of strawberry and light banana, sugary sweet like a pack of strawberry banana jello. The flavor is more mild than the aroma which is nice. Subtle slightly tart Plant City strawberry with stronger notes of mushed ripened banana. The honey is rather subdued and takes a back seat to the fruit. Overall I really like it!
