4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
As far as hard ciders go this is one of the best. Chai tea lightens the whole thing up and adds a touch of cinnamon without the fakeness that comes with adding actual cinnamon flavor. This is one of my favorites from b Nektar

Pours a ruby copper (is that even a color...but that is what I think of, a copper penny color stained with wine). Sweet apple with spices. The spices balance out what would be otherwise just too sweet. It is enjoyable, but I will admit that towards the end of the glass, I am ready for something else. B. Nektar makes some very tasty beverages, but I like to share the bottle with three or four, as otherwise it is just too much.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a clear earthy amber with a near white head that dissipates and completely. Aroma has lots of spice and chai with a sweet apple backbone. Flavor is much more of a spiced apple note with underlying chai and sweetness.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: Rustic copper, very, very slight red-ish tint with a few bubbles on top that disperse instantly. Aroma is chai heavy. Lots of chai spice, tea leaves, herbaceous notes, cinnamon potpourri, hints of vanilla, & maybe even a little ginger or nutmeg towards the back-end. Taste is surprisingly more sweet than spicy. Sweet apple taste, now you can definitely tell it’s a cider. Light cinnamon, red apple, only a small hint of chai spice with a tiny bit of ginger & graham cracker lingering in the finish. Enigmatic almost, but a pretty good cider. Strangely compelling.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Dark amber pour. Awesome aroma of apple, tea, vanilla, and cinnamon. It smells like Christmas and apple pie. Flavor doesn’t disappoint either, wonderful combo of apple and chai. Very drinkable. That rug really tied the room together did it not?

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle poured a red amber color with little head. Aroma has lots of tea, spiced Christmas cider, and ginger. Mouth feel is light and there is basically no carbonation. Flavor has a sweet cider underneath, tea, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, and a kick of ginger at the end that cuts out any bitterness and plays nicely with the sweetness. On the first taste I thought the spices were a bit too much but it grew on me as the glass went on.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pour on tap at the meadery, hazy dark red/brown pour with white head, aroma brought notes of sour fruit, kaffir lime, lemon, hints of tea, herbs, some honey, weird. Taste is a mix of sour fruit, grass, grain, chai tea notes with cinnamon, nutmeg, some tea notes with a hint of honey, finishing sweet, spicy.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
interesting, as always.
enjoyable, however I find the spices though bright and vibrant and warming to be too strong for the cider. would appreciate a lighter touch. on that note, the sweetness is distracting and becomes obtrusive by the time it warms - maybe next time I’ll drink half and keep the other half ice cold till later. apple is fairly boring and one-note, but seems fresh, if a little raw. alcohol is absent, a fairly bitter astringency that I assume is from spices is actually helping with the sweet finish somewhat. Fairly well done; would have again.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle (courtesy of BiiruBierBeer) pours with a crystal clear amber body that exhibits thin legs. The aroma offers up big apple sweet notes and a wide load of cinnamon and then more apple at the end of the draw. The taste delivers apple sweetened smooth cinnamon spiciness and then plenty of more apply sweet goodness midway and into the finish.
