Bottle. Pours a clear light ruby with no head. Almost like a Shirley Temple. Aroma is mostly apple and cherry with a hint of marshmallow fluff. Taste is also dominated by apple and cherry. Rye barrel comes out towards the end with some spice. Alcohol is well-masked. Smooth rich palate with a little carb. The rye barrel cuts the sweetness just enough. This is great.

From a 50 cl bottle shared at home. Pours a clear a clear a pinkish copper with an off white head. Aroma of tart cherry pie. Flavors of apple, cherry, and oak. Slightly tart finish but plenty sweet at the same time. Nice.

Tasting at Matt’s
The bottle is a gusher. It pours a hazy pink-orange color with just a rim of foam. The aroma is very interesting, flowery, with a delicate fruity touch; rose petals; light honey. Dynamic mouthfeel, lightly carbonated, mild sweetness, the alcohol punch is a nice balance to carbonation and sweetness; the flavor is a bit fruity, strawberries come to mind, not very complex though.
Nice drink, not really a Mead.

Cranberries, roses, cherries, honey aroma, a little perfumey. Rose colored, visible carbonation. Cranberries then cherries, red grape overtones, vinous. Medium body, quite hot, tannic, and a little spritzy. More recognizable as a wine than a mead, and no apple or rum character. Disappointing for a mead lover like me.

Refigerated 0.5 L brown bottle poured into a snifter. Clear orangish pink with no head, or lacing. Aroma is sweet honey with hints of cherries, medium body, low carbonation, and syrupy texture. Taste is honey, cherry, whiskey, wood, and hints of alcohol. Lots of flavor, starts off light for the abv and gets heavy, and needs more carbonation. Overall not my thing.

500mL bottle, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out rose petals, apples, whiskey, and cherries. Flavour is interesting, bringing out cherries, apples and honey. Not really getting any of the whiskey. The 12% is amazingly well-hidden and the palate is rather soft and light. Quite a nice mead / cider hybrid.

Very nice, like a Zombie Killer on steroids. The Bourban flavor is nice but not overwhelming. I enjoyed it but it's definitely not twice as good as good as the regular Zombie Killer even though it's twice the price. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500ml bottle. Poured a clear pink color with a fizzy off-white head. Aroma was a solid punch of cherries, light sweetness, sugar. Flavor was massive amounts of alcohol. Cherries, some light vanilla notes. Booze. Hits you hard later on. Pretty tasty.
