Golden, fruity, candy fruits, so easy to drink. Oxygen has had its way with it but i also think its done some favours.

Had this back at the RBSG 2010 Grand Tasting. Lovely, huge, fruity aroma of peach and a bit of citrus; really big. Sweet-ass but not cloying flavor of honey, licorice. A lovely, refreshing mead.

In bottle. Pours a light golden colour with a musty yeast aroma with quality honey and alcohol characters also. An upfront sweet honey flavour before warming alcohol kicks in. A sherbet character also. Quite drinkable.

Bottle at cgarvieuk’s Danish Invasion extravaganza. Pale yellow gold pour. Soft elderflower and blossom honey, hint of open alcohol on the nose. Slightly tart apple flavour with spicy honey flavours underneath. Very clean with a nice almost-sherbet character. Quite light in body, lovely long tart finish with just the slightest hint of alcohol. Really interesting, lovely stuff.
