75 cl bottle at home. Thanks Ramy! Very light yellow color, reminds me of elderflower lemonade. Lots of flowers and roasted notes on the nose along with dry apples, perfume, yeast, sunflower and honey. Smooth mouthfeel and soft flavor with loads of cinnamon and vanilla, perfume, tobacco, elderflower, ginger and pine. Odd, yet delicious.

At the Julios mead tasting, way too much vanilla in this one, the cinnamon is a tasty unique addition

Bottle @ home... It pours clear pale yellow with no head..... The aroma is sweet vanilla, honey and cinnamon..... The flavor is cinnamon, vanilla, wood and honey......Thick sugary body.... nice mead...
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Chipalsa (1091) - Florida, USA - JAN 7, 2013
This mead was great, it smelled like wet outdoors and stale Cinnamon Toast Crunch. The taste was full of honey, some cinnamon, and a VERY generous amount of vanilla. With the cinnamon coming out in the finish, this 14% drinker was seemingly lighter. Cheers!

Boy do I wish I liked cinnamon... Nose is really nice, sweeter vanilla notes mixed with beautiful smooth cinnamon... Like a potpourri bouquet... Not bad... Flavor healthy cinnamon, which turned me off. Can’t help it.. Just not a cinnamon fan.

Pours a largely clear, still straw golden with some visible sediment and solid alcohol legs. Nose is where this began to go to hell for me: some definite spice notes, a touch of apple and fruit, but I also got a healthy dose of damp used dishcloth and window cleaner and other detergent notes. Pretty sweet flavor with a touch a of bitterness, but nothing that could overcome the nose. Very hot and heavier bodied, which made for a miserable experience, yet for some reason I kept trying to drink it thinking it would get better. Just god awful despite high hopes. The vanilla and cinnamon took a backseat to all the terrible notes for me. I enjoy mead, but this just went all wrong for me in so many ways. Gross...
3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 conway (573) - - DEC 1, 2012
Looks like cloudy piss. Aroma is mostly wine with tiny hints of the vanilla and cinnamon. Taste is incredibly sweet. Opens with the vanilla note with the cinnamon following. Oak is mostly post-swallow. Very interesting and complex, but not super drinkable because of the overwhelming sweetness. Probably more interesting than good.

May 4, 2012 - with blankboy, garthicus, gregclow, jercraigs & mabel. Blue 750ml bottle c/o j&m. Very pale slightly hazy yellow with a few suspended particles, no head - looks .... nice? boring? dunno (not much in the way of legs). Odd pungent, almost sour aroma - boozy; like patchouli incense - sharp and burnt, dry, spicy somewhat sweet (weird). Taste is all perfume and incense - jesus. Light and syrupy, no carbonation, long perfume and honey finish - weird and then some.

Pours very light clear, like clear lemon juice. The aroma brings sweet vanilla boozy honey. The flavor is overpowering vanilla extract, even though it is vanilla beans. The cinnamon is nice to help round out the vanilla, but the higher ABV makes it rough on the palate overall.
