3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle… Vero Beach “GET YOUR RUDOLPH ON” Throwdown… Clear, light straw-colored mead. The aromatics present alcohol, green apple and cinnamon - I’m not picking up any vanilla here. Full-bodied with an oily mouthfeel. The flavor is sweet vanilla and cinnamon - there’s that wonderful vanilla. Warm, but not hot. Sweet, rich, lightly acidic finish. Bottle courtesy of Blazer06!

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pale yellow. Aroma is awesome, cinnabon! Vanilla, butter, cake, cinnamon. Flavor is sweet and delicious, reminds me of a cinnabon or homemade cinnamon roll with a touch of honey. WOW! Thanks greg for this treat!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Served at 48*F. Pours with a clear, very light, pale yellow body with decently strong legs. Aroma is dryish with a decently woodsy, grape note, cinnamon, vanilla cake, buttery and grassy. Taste is great! Liquid snickerdoodle cookie in a glass. Not overly sweet, cut by a lot of tannins. Nice, but strong alcoholic presence. Kind of thin for a mead of this gravity. Light effervescence.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle in Ann Arbor. A touch hazy, very light yellow appearance. Sweet honey, cinnamon, mild vanilla bean aroma... My dad said tuna. Haha. Pretty spicy cinnamon, rich vanilla, big sweet honey flavor. Pretty big flavor but nice.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
2012-05-04. Very pale yellow, headless body is white wine like. Weird aroma of cinnamon and vanilla, with a weird floral perfume undertone. Smells like a candle. Flavour is quite sweet, mild vanilla and sweet muted cinnamon. Lingering floral and vanilla. Smooth average plus palate is uncarbonated. Flavour is a bit rough. Might work better as an aperitif or similar? Not bad per se but a bit of an acquired taste I think and I found it hard to drink much of it. Bottle from Cloverleaf, Michigan

2.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle at Fermentation Lounge in Tallahassee, FL. The pour is a slightly hazy white- flat. Looks like the old white arctic something flavor of Gatorade. Could be given to your friend as "water". In a shot glass. Decent legs drips with a swirls. Nose- whoa buddy not good here. Huge phenolic compounds smack your head like a chemical fire..perhaps it is just vanilla bean oil to the max but it is 100% chemical heavy like perfume gone bad. Warms up and release volatile notes to reveal medium vanilla bean oil but fuck man- I have brain damage already. Taste is decent vanilla spice and booze. But the nose is still major league chemical, band-aid, plastic to the max. Enormous off character. Very poor.
