COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our most popular "gateway mead". Made with clover honey, shiraz grapes, and has a great wildberry flavor. Makes an excellent sangria. Serve alone, or mix with soda water, and add a lemon and lime.

Pours a nice ruby purple. Nose is of sweet and tart berries, blackberry, blueberry, raspberry. Taste is big on honey, booze, and fruit on the front a bit of tart booziness on the back end. This one is a bit hot but very good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at the Colorado Mead Tasting í12, courtesy of Aaron. Thanks Man! Pour is deep purple/crimson with no head and good legs. Dry yeasty aroma, tannin, red wine, bread, dark fruits, and raspberries in the aroma. Taste is dark berries, red grapes, yeast, tannin, and biscuit with a dry, lingering finish and slight alcoholic burn. Mouthfeel is medium no carbonation. Very reminiscent of sweet merlot. My wife would love this one.

2012 Colorado Mead Tasting at Arminís house. Pours a clear, dark purple appearance with no head. Somewhat syrupy, jammy berry, somewhat thick aroma. Thick, somewhat boozy, light vanilla, big jammy blackberry, somewhat herbal flavor. A bit too rich for me but not bad.

Bottle shared with Linh, Angela, Minh, Annie and Ali. Pours a deep, blood red/purple body with no head. Aroma is sweet berries, wine, light sweet fruit, and light perfume. Mouthfeel is nice, a touch hot, with notes of rich berries, cinnamon, honey, wine, and light dust. Nice.

Bottle. Nice berry aromas with white wine and honey mixed in. Color is a darker rose wine. flavor is lightly sweet and moderately acidic to start, then finishes lightly sweet and acidic. Palate is light to medium and slick in texture. A tasty beverage, if a bit girlie, but too much like Rose Wine for me to think this belongs on this site.

Poured from a refrigerated bottle into a wine glass. Appearance is a dark red, maybe even purple. The aroma is kinda footy in a Cabernet sort of way with a dark fruit berry presence that makes the footy notes not as big of a deal. Taste is much more enjoyable than the smell. Itís sweet and fruity with the berries playing the starring role. Nice mead for sure. One you could sip on for a long while.

Bottle. Pours a darker pink. No head not much carb. Donít know how or what a mead should be but I enjoyed it. I donít like wine. It kind of seemed like a sweet one. Grapes small amount of honey. Dry finish. It was good with ice. For what it was I liked it but donít have anything to compare it to
