Our most popular "gateway mead". Made with clover honey, shiraz grapes, and has a great wildberry flavor. Makes an excellent sangria. Serve alone, or mix with soda water, and add a lemon and lime.

Poured from a refrigerated bottle into a wine glass. Appearance is a dark red, maybe even purple. The aroma is kinda footy in a Cabernet sort of way with a dark fruit berry presence that makes the footy notes not as big of a deal. Taste is much more enjoyable than the smell. It’s sweet and fruity with the berries playing the starring role. Nice mead for sure. One you could sip on for a long while.

Bottle, pours a deep dark burgundy with no head. Nose brings out rich berries, red wine notes and a touch of wild qualities. Flavour is sweet, with rich sweet berries, red wine and lots of booze. Well-balanced and complex. Not having much experience with pyments, I’m not the best judge, but this is very enjoyable.

Bottle thanks to team Garvie. Flat purple with no head, like Ribena. Strong berry aroma up front, red wine, the honey comes through when swirled. Tastes of a strong red wine, berries, some alcohol. Sweet and a little hot. Has more in common with red wine than mead imo and the berry flavour reminds me of some medicine I was given as a kid.

Proper thick Ribena good time body, rich lacing but this time it looks the business. YES. Nose is a sultry rich bowl out of berry, honey buzz but rich floral and stewed berry skin. Initial taste is sultry, deep rich tart berry and little of any hazy buzz. Carbonation is sleek and mouthfeel is liquidated berry dessert good times. Finishes not dissimilar to what has gone on before, dry spicy then magical berry incredible goodness - nourishing and properly, properly craft.

Another nice one from B. Nektar pours a nice purple berry blend color with a wine look. Some bubbles curve the rim. A somewhat boozy honey grape nose. A smooth soft touch of dry tart blueberries and raspberries. An alcohol feel in the back end. Really nice.

75 cl bottle @ Sankt Hans Tasting, Ulfborg.
Aroma has honey and some berry juice. Feels somewhat sweet. Flavour has cranberry juice, some honeyish notes and warming alcohol. Sweet berry juice is quite dominant here and honey just backs up the sweetness. Quite easy to drink.
