COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our most popular "gateway mead". Made with clover honey, shiraz grapes, and has a great wildberry flavor. Makes an excellent sangria. Serve alone, or mix with soda water, and add a lemon and lime.

Bottle at the Colorado Mead Tasting ’12, courtesy of Aaron. Thanks Man! Pour is deep purple/crimson with no head and good legs. Dry yeasty aroma, tannin, red wine, bread, dark fruits, and raspberries in the aroma. Taste is dark berries, red grapes, yeast, tannin, and biscuit with a dry, lingering finish and slight alcoholic burn. Mouthfeel is medium no carbonation. Very reminiscent of sweet merlot. My wife would love this one.

75 cl bottle at home. Thanks Ramy! Deep ruby red mead with no head. Really beautiful. Red Grapes, honey, rosé and black pepper, spices, marzipan, almond paste and vanilla on the nose. Very smooth mouthfeel with loads of sweet flavors. Red grapes, ripe red apples and dark fruits, jam, blackberry, lingonberry. Verry nice balance. Warming alcohol finish. Really good stuff!

Sample from a bottle. Clear reddish pink color, hue of brown in there. Pretty-looking, despite having no head or lace. Does have impressive legs, though. Very nice floral / berry nose. Fragrant, like a perfume. Good white grape flavor. Sweet taste, in an authentic big fruity kind of way, not cloying at all. Big body, light carbonation if any, dry texture. Good long fruity white grape aftertaste. Alcohol warmth is there, but it’s not bothersome at all. Helps propel the fantastic aroma out, actually. Awesome, delicious stuff.

Bottle. Poured clear reddish copper color with good legs. Moderate to heavy berry fruity, honey and small alcohol aroma. Medium to full body with a thick smooth texture and long legs. Medium to heavy sweet fruit and honey flavor with a medium to heavy complex sweet finish of moderate to long duration. Pleasing smooth alcohol burn. Standout mead.

Bottle. Pours a clear garnet color. Lots of berries on the nose, soft sweet fruit and honey. Medium bodied, very subtle touches of delicate carbonation. Berries and gum, dry honey and a touch of warmth. Lingering warm alcohol into the finish with a bit more berries and dry honey.

Opened this up before I realized it was 13% alcohol. Wow, this looks incredible. Clear, ruby color, with no head. Smells like gummy candy and booze. I love gummies but the booze is a bit much. Oh my god this is sweet! Cloying, sticky, too much. Drain pour.

Pours a nice ruby purple. Nose is of sweet and tart berries, blackberry, blueberry, raspberry. Taste is big on honey, booze, and fruit on the front a bit of tart booziness on the back end. This one is a bit hot but very good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
