Skyview (4007), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Nov 4, 2009 Sampled during Great Taste of Midwest ’09 in Madison, Wisconsin. Pours a still sauvignon blanc colored mead with a clean disk top and some extra viscosity tears inside glass. Aroma of clover and a hint of violet flower honey with some light vanilla in the background. Taste is sweet honey, vanilla and a hint of marzipan almond. Finish is silky smooth, soft palate with a short lived vanilla and sweet honey aftertaste. Oh wow, how can we get more of this sweet mead in Minnesota? nickwin (1), , Michigan, USA does not count Jan 27, 2009 This is the first decent mead I have ever tried, so I don’t really have any reference, but I did really enjoy this one. Smells like like honey, very sweet, and very floral. Pours a very light yellow like white wine. The taste is a little sweeter than I would like, but still very good overall. Taste matches the smell, honey and flowers. Very interesting and tasty. I’m looking forward to trying more from B Nektar.
