COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A traditional mead made with wildflower honey from the thumb area of Michigan. The honey makes a richly complex mead, full of aromas and flavors of many of Michigan’s natural flora. We age this mead on American oak wich softens it and adds some nice vanilla notes.

Very pale. Looks like white wine. Full-bodied mead aroma with lots of wildflower notes. Sweet but pulling some meady , woody notes in the finish and just enough alcohol to dry things out.

Pour from 7venth sun. Pale, greenish hue. Aroma oak aged Chardonnay silky mead. Viscous palate. Long, lingering palate but one that is overly sweet and almost cloying. The honey character and the vanilla are nice but it's not balanced at all. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Soft aromas of oak, vanilla and clean honey. Lots of abv and a hint of sulphur. Lightly hazy almost clear and soft yellow light. Flavors start sweet and earthy with lots of alcohol. As the glass progresses it opens up to lots of fruit including apple, pear, white grape and even a little orange. Plenty of abv spice. A bit sticky on the palate and coats the lips thinly. Rough starting mead but as you drink it the subtler flavors really begin to shine.

Huge disappointment with this. Shared this with an unlucky friend. Duvel baby tulip. Clear pale lager color, slight haze. Oniony/moldy/mushroom-y scent. Peppermint & plastic. Some odd cork interaction going on. Taste is sweet & citrusy upfront. Toasty oak, followed by ugly menthol, bitter stems & melting plastic. Semi-glutenous consistency. Thick. Waxy flavor & texture. Sweet & violent. Good in straight cold shots, but not much else.

Bottle. Pours semi cloudy yellow. Nose/taste of florals, honey and light brown sugar. Mild oak and vanilla in taste with a slight alcohol burn in finish. Medium body.

bottle... light straw body, no head... really weird nose, is this infected? creamy peanut butter, a bit of vanilla, oak, and floral honey, ok, but weird... taste is a bit off as well, very creamy, a bit more of peanut butter, more pronounced honey and flowers now, too sweet but easy to drink but does not compare to the Kuhnhenn Wildflower mead
