4/13/12. 375mL bottle. Clear almost orange pour with no head, obviously. A swirl reveals long, loose legs. A bit of strawberry aroma with a big sour kick and a hint of butteriness that reminds me of oak. More dominant strawberry flavor with more honey than the aroma, and touches of vanilla and tartness. Eh.

Bottle. Pours a clear pink hued amber color. Muted strawberry nose almost like smelling a strawberry yogurt. Sweet strawberry taste with a tinge of alcohol. Semi dry. Some apple notes as well. Pretty tasty.

Appearance: rose tinged gold – unripe strawberries. Bubbles cling to the bottom and sides of glass but no visible carbonation. Broken collar of tiny bubbles.
Nose: slicing into fresh strawberries with a honey jar lurking in the background. Light and delicate. Straightforward and uncomplicated. More sliced strawberries, now with a light dusting of powdered sugar.
Palate: faint strawberry with a honey finish. Jammy. Strawberry ice and honey. No seeds for bitterness. Strawberry lingers longest. Honey in the breath with a hint of warmth.
Final Thoughts: not one of my more favorite meads from B. Nektar but it was still good. A little thin on the palate all-around.

Clear pink-orange body, no head. Nose of strawberries and honey, sweet with warming alcohol notes. Sweet, fruity body nicely cleaned up by warming alcohol notes in the finish, substantial but not syrupy or cloying.

Pinkish gold pour. Aroma is strawberry jam and honey. Flavor follows suit. Nice stuff!

Bottle. Clear, pale, pinkish pour similar to a rose wine. Rich strawberry nose, honey and alcohol are also present. Medium body with a smooth mouth feel. Sweet flavor of honey and strawberry. Finishes sweet.

375 ml cobalt blue bottle. Pours clear gold with a pink blush from the strawberries with no head. This is a still mead. Pleasant aroma of honey, strawberry and some alcohol. The flavor is honey and strawberry with just a hint of vanilla present as well. Moderately sweet. Enjoyable.

Clear copper color, no head. Sweet, alcohol taste. Sweet, fruity, alcohol scent. Smooth mouthfeel. Medium high bitterness withh an alcohol bite at the end. After warming up it gets more raspberry scent as well.
