COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Zombie Killer Cherry Cyser is made with Michigan tart cherry juice, apple cider and star thistle honey. It is sweet but balances nicely with the tart cherries. Be careful...it is extremely addicting and refreshing. Serve cold...Zombies hate the cold!

Bottle from Capitol Beer, Sacramento. Pours clear apple with no head and a honey and cherry aroma. There is a delicious light malt, honey and cherry flavor with a little carbonation.

These beautiful labels randomly popped up at the Co-Op the other day, and even though it was $10 (!!!) I’m a sucker to try out new goods, and went for it. Medium-thick mead here, big cherry nose. Tart cherry blended with sweetness of the honey, with an apple note on the tongue towards the finish. Good, but wouldn’t buy again - too pricey for a small bottle like that!

Pours a light pink with thin white head. Almost like a champaign? Nose is of sweet tart cherries. Taste is of medium body, balanced carbination of sweet cherries and light molassis. My first mead and pretty damn good.

Midwest Brewers Fest. Poured slight hazy orange pink. Killer aroma of sour cherries. Tastes like an apple pie.

500 ml. bottle. Well, I don’t have much experience with Mead or Cyser but here goes anyway… It pours a nice clear apple juice color with hints of rose. Fizzy head disappears instantly. Lots of streaming bubbles. The aroma is all apples with milder notes of cherry and subtle notes of honey and yeast. The flavor is delish, but very sweet with apples up front followed by fresh, sweet cherries. Honey is felt more on the palate and a bit in the finish. Medium bodied and goes down easy like a soft drink. Tasty. My wife loves the stuff.

Bottle pour..medium apple juice like color..slight carbonation..nose of quality apple cider spiked with apple pie..good apple combo.also a bit of cinnamon and a trace of tartness..can’t say that I know much about mead but the mouthfeel on this is wonderful..smooth bit of honey with obvious cherry sweetness that is kept in check..quite enjoyable and well crafted..

Scopey (6140) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 22, 2013
Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2013. It pours deep amber with a small white head. The nose is juicy cherry, honey, earth, caramel and dried fruit. The taste is juicy cherry, lemon, honey, apple, oily, tangy citrus, light tart edge, date, prune and dried blueberry. Medium+ body, low carbonation and oily mouth-feel. Juicy and well-balanced. I thought this one worked rather well.

Bottle from Taylor’s Market in Sacramento, CA. Pours rather orange with a pinkish tinged slight white head. Aroma could be cherry and honey. Near med body. Flavor is fairly tart cooking cherry. A little honey, but this is cherry tart. Nice drink. With time the honey seems to get stronger, and I’m licking my lips and finding sweet. Still seems tart tho.

UPDATED: DEC 1, 2013 Apple cider-y, sweet apple skins, light honey, almost no notable booze or alcohol in the aroma or flavor. Very sweet, so be ready for that, but it’s a nice, delectable treat. If you love apples, you’re gonna love this stuff.

Truly amazing. Sweet but addicting. It’s amazing what they can do with mead.
