Zombie Killer Cherry Cyser is made with Michigan tart cherry juice, apple cider and star thistle honey. It is sweet but balances nicely with the tart cherries. Be careful...it is extremely addicting and refreshing. Serve cold...Zombies hate the cold!

Appearance is a rich golden red, heavy cloying sweetness, almost tartly cider like in taste with a touch of a bitter finish. $8 a glass it hurts the wallet a bit but its more than worth it with a nice jacked up buzz

Bottle poured into New Glarus flute. Slightly blush peach color with a short-lived fizz. Full bodied cider aroma, deep apple flesh and honeycomb notes, cherries very subtle. In the flavor, sweet candied cherries jump out in the foreground before washing into a smooth sweet cider finish. The honey influence is huge, filling out the palate and lingering for what seems like days. The finish manages to be pretty crisp despite all the residuals. Delicious.

We’ve had this on tap at Five Points Growler for a week or so now. Excellent mead from a unique meadery. Subtle cherry aroma with a light pink color--almost that of a Zinfandel. Excellent balance of tart cherry and apple, with tartness prevalent up front and subtle sweetness on the back end. Not much honey. Very light bodied mead-not typical for the style. Only 6% ABV. Overall this really is a kick *** mead and should be on your must-find list. **Side-Note: finding it on tap at a growler store or on tap will result in a significantly more economical way to enjoy this mead.
