4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle poured into New Glarus flute. Slightly blush peach color with a short-lived fizz. Full bodied cider aroma, deep apple flesh and honeycomb notes, cherries very subtle. In the flavor, sweet candied cherries jump out in the foreground before washing into a smooth sweet cider finish. The honey influence is huge, filling out the palate and lingering for what seems like days. The finish manages to be pretty crisp despite all the residuals. Delicious.

We’ve had this on tap at Five Points Growler for a week or so now. Excellent mead from a unique meadery. Subtle cherry aroma with a light pink color--almost that of a Zinfandel. Excellent balance of tart cherry and apple, with tartness prevalent up front and subtle sweetness on the back end. Not much honey. Very light bodied mead-not typical for the style. Only 6% ABV. Overall this really is a kick *** mead and should be on your must-find list.
**Side-Note: finding it on tap at a growler store or on tap will result in a significantly more economical way to enjoy this mead.

Pour was rose colored with some white bubbles It reminded me of a sunset. The aromas here are straight forward but awesome. Sweet cherry and apple aromas. Tastes were an awesome combo of apple juice and cherry syrup. It was almost like drinking Juicy-Juice. Great stuff that is so drinkable want more of this

This poured a purple-ish pink color with no head. The aroma contains some apple, honey, and cherries. The flavor is rather sweet with a strong cherries presence and honey. Some sour apples in the finish. Overall a very nice mead.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
500, capped. Pours a rosy burnished dark gold with no real head or lace. Sweet bright acidic, slightly tart cherry nose, blended perfectly with the honey. Both very pronounced, very forward flavors, but working together very harmoniously. Creamy medium body with a bit of carb. Cherry and honey perfectly integrated on the mid palate, perfectly proportional to one another and very balanced and delightful. Mild sweet cherry finish.
