COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Zombie Killer Cherry Cyser is made with Michigan tart cherry juice, apple cider and star thistle honey. It is sweet but balances nicely with the tart cherries. Be careful...it is extremely addicting and refreshing. Serve cold...Zombies hate the cold!

On tap at cigar city in a snifter: pours a peachy copper. Aroma mostly yeast. The flavor is a.balanced bitter and way refreshing flavors with cherry notes primarily cherry. A great mead indeed. I will seek this out again.

Bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass: Smaller sized lively and fairly quick disappearing white head. Leaves a headless rose (wine) looking Mead. After a while it turns more orange. Wtf? Aroma of dusty apple, dusty cellar, some light hints of dusty cherries, cabbage, cinnamon and honey. Flavour of apples, dusty apples, some cinnamon, bit fruity, again dusty cellar and something that tastes a bit like wilder yeast, light cherry tones, some fruity tartness and some appel and pear peel. Aftertaste is apple juice, light bitter & tart ish apples, some subtle dry hints and some years and malts... Low carbo, creamy to watery mouthfeel, medium bodied and a light dry light watery texture. Very nice, refreshing, interesting and easy!

pretty good, but pretty sweet. The sweetness settled quickly. Lots of cherry flavor. If you're a fan of Dogfish Head Noble Rot, give this a shot. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

"They should of called this love potion number nine".I was at the store selecting a couple of brews to enjoy this hot summer day and thought wow what a cool label , I’ll give it a shot and glad I did. Very refreshing pleasant earthy aromas of cherry and "think of me as crazy" but earthy mushrooms is in the nose. Its sweet and tart and a great refreshment for enjoying at the river or lake or just hanging by the pool side . Try it if you like wine coolers cause its bomb.

Bottle thanks to Brian. Pours a clear pink orange with no head. The aroma is strong cherry skin, oak, pears. Thin mouthfeel with cherry, pears, and oak. Easy to drink, very impressive.

I am excited to try this because all the other B. Nektar meads have been novelty spiced garbage but people still like them. A more straight ahead fruit based one seems like it might be more up my alley--and it is. This is a pretty decent beverage. It is clear and headless. It is pretty single-mindedly cherry oriented but it has a nice, fresh, juicy taste that reminds me somewhat of New Glarus’s fruit beers. It tastes like cherry juice dissolved in a sweet hard cider and that is basically exactly what it is. My only complains are that there is really not much honey character--maybe just a floral note around the edges--and I feel like the apple juicy texture would be improved if this were more effervescent. It finishes with some lingering sweetness and green apple tartness and overall is a nice, fresh , fruity tasting drink. I would definitely recommend this for those who enjoy beers w/ lots of real fruit flavor. It is not the most subtle stuff in the world but does a great job of being what it is.

500ml bottle. Pours peachy orange with low carbonation. Aroma is sweet cherry, apple and nail polish. Taste is cherry to start with a cherry and apple finish. Tastes like a macro fruit cider for kids to get pissed up on.

Tap@Pudel, Tallinn. Pours clear orange-pink with no head. Aroma is sour cherries, apples, faint honey, minerals and sweet flowery notes. Flavor is sour and sweet, honey, apples, cherries, feels somewhat cider like. Finish is rather watery and sour with hints of alcohol. Overall: very delicious.

Bottle courtesy of "AKFaust". Past notes. Colour...much like a Provence rose but of course, effervescent. Nose...delightfully bright and spritely with masses of tart cherry, vanillin, clover honey and rose petal. Palate...crisp, bright and eminently appealing with tartly sweet cherry at the forefront and all around the palate. Apple and quince hit mid palate and essence of honey focuses itself towards the ever fresh and vibrant finish. Truly wonderful stuff that I wish we had in Oregon!

Tap. Clear reddish orange, small head that quickly dissipates. Nose is cherries, apples, honey, tartness. Flavor is pretty close to what it smells like, fruit, cherries and honey dominate, a nice hit of tartness and spice in the finish.
