3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 harrisoni (10069) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JAN 8, 2007
Cask handpull at Folkestone Wetherspoons. Copper colour with lasting bubbly off white head. Alcohol makes this fuller bodied than a standard bitter. Good strong bitter, plenty of bitter hop finish. Yeast, hop aroma, toffee malt in mouth and then really great bitter finish.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 leaparsons (6323) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - MAY 25, 2005
Bottle conditioned. amber/orange with a white head. Aromas are sour apple with hints of sweet toffee. Flavours are also fruity and sour. Some dryness on the finish. I suspect that the bottling process has tainted this beer slightly.
