Basically black, creamy beige head. Chocolate burnt malt aroma. Smooth and mellow thick grainy roasted malt taste - decent chocolate component, some liquorice, but not sticking out abruptly at all. Must agree with the session stout comment.

Counting House. Aroma is heavily roasted malt, liquirce with hints of tart fruit. Taste is burnt tar, liqurice, tart fruit, burnt toast. All far to much and just aiming to get as roasty as possible without any possibility of drinkability. I had a few sips then gave up. In excellent condition.
