First tasted this at the Mossend Beer Festival, Lochwinnoch in July 1994. Cask, handpump dispense. Crystal clear straw in colour with a thin white head. Strong floral hop aroma. Thin mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malts give a citric note of lemons and lime cordial. Strong note of floral hop resins flood the aftertaste. This continues into the dry citric finish. An ok summer session golden ale.

UPDATED: JUL 31, 2009 Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Pale gold with a small white head. Very sweet floor polish aroma. Then some citric hop. Very sour citric taste, really not very nice. A little biscuit but not enough. No bitterness to speak of. My daughter thought it was ’drinkable’. Enough said. A rare shocker from B & T. 31.7.09 Same location. Wheaty aroma this time. Plain and sour. Slight dryness. Not quite as bad as I remember. Rated: 4,3,5,3,9:2.4
