Cask at FFTMC, Oxford, 31-10-08 Pours light amber with a white head, looks good. Good, malty fruit bite, nice bitterness, tasty enough beer at 3.6% to have a session on.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Doppelganger (1385) - Dry County, Arkansas, USA - MAY 17, 2008
Cask, Turf Tavern, Oxford. Gold, bit of pale white head. Sweet nectar aroma, spicy honey, friendly powdered old-lady. Soft spicy hops, a little farm, marmalade, bit of bell-toned blackberry. Smallest toasty touch in the finish. Delicate, simple, pleasant. Seeing the brewers description here as I enter this rating: Cascades in this? Hmmm. That’s a surprise. Wonder if they are using 06 or 05 crop? Nice beer anyhow.
4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20 DonMagi (5598) - bantervile, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 16, 2007
Cask at Blackfriers. Pours a reddy brown, lacing is key throughout, looks great. Aroma is biscuity and slightly richer bown ale malts, floural and citrus flavours off the hops. Taste is alround well balanced biscuity hint at chcolate malts with a grassy bitteringness and a nuice citrus orangy lemon flavour left in the mouth. Outstanding session ale!

Cask conditioned - handpump - Wig and Pen Northampton. A light amber coloured beer with an off white head and lacing. The aroma is fairly fruity. There are fruits in the taste also, but the palate is watery. Just because it’s 3.6 doesn’t mean we can’t have more body.
