3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 kereltis (32) - Oregon, USA - DEC 27, 2012Does not do what it says on the bottle. Weak aroma, very malty with a hint of hops. "...winter warmer..." I’m afraid not, the flavor is way to mild and weak for a winter ale, might be ok as a summer ale but leave it on the self during the holidays. It does have a nice label though.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Fredis23 (94) - Illinois, USA - MAY 13, 2013
Murky Brown, Huge Head, Lots of Lacing. Moderately Sweet Malt, Light Pine aftertaste that does not last long. When you think of a winter brew, this one is too thin and not sweet enough to be one. Nevertheless a decent brew that I’ve enjoyed it this cold spring evening.
3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 OKplus (379) - Oklahoma, USA - APR 29, 2013
A - Pours a hazy dark orange brown. 1 finger of tan head.
S - Dark malts, candied oranges, faint cinnamon apple. Unkown fruits. I had to really try and find anything in the nose. Overall the aroma was pretty subdued.
T - Spicy wheat breadiness, a good amount of toasted toffee malt, spiced oranges, over-ripened red grapes. Good hop presence. Has a soft spice blend that I couldn’t quite pick out.
M - Moderate carbonation, light to medium body.
Nice malt flavors but a very faint nose on this one. Drinks very easy and finishes dry. Seems a bit thin for a Winter Warmer but a tasty beer nonetheless. I would get this again.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Ibrew2or3 (5777) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - APR 24, 2013
12oz bottle pours clear amber with copper hues and supporting a weak tan head. The aroma offers up lots of prunes and raisins and then a bit of fig like sweetness. The taste is similar as I get a raisin note that borders on peppery along with some softer prune notes in the background. To midway it picks up some candi sugar and a faint beat quality.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Stellaaaa (237) - Tennessee, USA - MAR 30, 2013
Pours a clear ruby red with a thick, white head. It has an aroma of pine and dry-roasted, browned malt (although not too roasted/caramelised, just lightly). It tastes like alcohol and pine. I get a little bit of the dry malt taste at the end followed by bitterness, but the alcohol and pine at the beginning predominate. Not a horrible beer, and one I might drink again, but I can’t say I’d go out of my way to get it either.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Dfonorow (716) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 25, 2013
Pour is brown/red with a thin white head, nice lacing. Aroma of light fruits, english yeast, cloves, Earth. Flavor is fairly mild with the English yeast shining through the most - cloves, barnyard, sweet caramel. Mild hop finish, a bit watery.

12oz bottle to pint. Smells malty and bitter. Nice creamy persistent head. Taste follows aroma. Nice brew.
3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Lemke10 (541) - Janesville, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 24, 2013
Expect the unexpected with this ale. It pours a dark brown color with a long lasting head. There is a slight scent to it, but nothing that stands out. It was quite heavy for an ale while there was a slight nutty taste, very slightly bitter but finished quite smooth. A very nice find and something I would suggest to others.

Amber brown color, mildly sweet, balanced malts. Not as dark or complex as the bottle description seems to indicate.
