Pours an orange brown color, very clear with a mild sweet aroma. Plenty of hops but not over powering. This is a winter ale for the summer ale lovers, light, some what refreshing with a good taste. I tend to prefer darker, stronger flavored winter ales though. This just wasn’t warm enough for me.

Dark amber in colour with a thin beige head. Sweet caramel aroma. Mild hops with a nice bitter finish. Very thin in body that does detract from the overall quality of this beer.

bhensonb (8995) - Woodland, California, USA - MAR 5, 2013
Bomber from Made in Oregon. Pours hazy copper/amber with yellow tinged creamy head. Aroma of earthy hop and sweet caramel. Med body. Flavor is fruity, followed by grassy, ending with residual earthiness. The hop is sufficiently intense to make the malt relatively unnoticeable. It’s hoppier than many IPAs. Very nice. Some roasty malt does come out after taste bud fatigue sets in.

Extremely faint aroma of brown sugar. Brownish copper color. Metallic hops upfront with a cinnamon/brown sugar backbone. Overall, not a whole lot to say about this. It’s very basic and doesn’t bring much flavor to the table.

Bottle, shared with Parksy and Grippitis. Tawny tea-coloured amber with an off-white head. Caramel and citrus hop aroma. Similar flavours on the palate with a lightly earthy quality. Quite nice.
