on tap at zly casy. a rich reddish brown with a persisten beige head; aroma of preserved forest fruits and burnt wheat; hints of vanilla cream and cocoa powder; a bit hard to make sense of but at least has plenty of flavour

(Draught at Pivovarsky Klub, Prague, 30 July 2011) Dark brown colour, almost black, with hints of ruby. Lasting beige head. Roasted, malty nose with dark bread, raisins, prunes, caramel and chocolate. Malty, roasted taste with notes of dark fruit, raisins, prunes, caramel, chocolate and a mild bitter-sweet, toasty finish. Medium body. Very well balanced and tasty. Nice one.

Tap @ Pivovarsky Klub, Prague. Pours dark brown, allmost black, with a creamy tan head. Aroma of hard roasted malts, coffee, fruit, light smoke and light sourness. Taste is roasted maltr, coffee, dark chocolate, fruit. Thin body, soft carbonation, easy drinking beer. 300711

Bottled. Very dark brown, brief head. Coffee aroma. Sweet, buttery and coffeeish. Light-medium bodied. Coffee with sugar, licorice and chocolate. Pleasant flavours, but too sweet.

Draught. High creamy and long lasting off-white head. Pitch black body. Lovely coffee cocoa caramel nut aroma. Coffee creamy caramel flavor with low carbonation. Long sweet coffee aftertaste.

On tap @ brewpub. Pours black with a 1" creamy tan head.Aroma of deep roasted malt. Taste is somewhat spicy, notes of anis, and the the nice roasted malt, makes this a nice dunkel.

Draught. Sweet liquorice aroma. Almost black colour, seems clear. Small stable light brown head. The flavour is nicely roasted, hint of liquorice. Very slight sweetness. Well-rounded.

on tap at the Zly Casy beer festival. Deep dark colour, nearly black with a creamy beige head. Aroma of caramel. Lots of caramel and roasetd malt with a touch of espresso/coffee and cocoa powder. Medium to low carbonation that gives a very smooth and creamy mouthfeel.
