Delším zráním na chladném a tmavém místě pivo získává vůni a chuť kvalitní hořké čokolády, která tolik chutnala Kateřině Veliké.
Podávejte k sladkým dezertům, aromatickým sýrům a v případě krize. 21°
Optimální teplota 12° - 14°C.

swing top bottle 330ml. -Courtesy of and shared with Slovak crew (Gurthnar, Cuso and Miro) and Marko. Pitch black, medium sized brown head, light chocolate with whiff of smoke in the nose. Roasted malt, dark chocolate, cocoa powder and hint of alcohol with dry bitterish finish. Had much better representatives of the style. 8.0%ABV

Draft at Zly Casy. A black beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of peated smoke, roasted malt, and chocolate, leading to a dry roasted finish.

Bottle, purchased by Gurthnar at Pivovarsky Dum as their RIS, turned out to be this. So yeah, they seem to be the same, but I’ll leave the judgment to more local people. Thanks for sharing, guys! Poured a pitch black body with a dark off white head, medium sized. Full, simple malty taste, chocolate, light propolis. Simple, dry taste, dark chocolate, slightly roasty, just a touch tart, medium to low hoppy bitterness. I actually dig the taste, but it just seems too light. Had far worse than this!

Zapach z butelki to kawa, kakao, lekki sos sojowy.

Bottle 0,33l as U Medvídků Russian Imperial Stout; Black opaque body with dark brown high head. Aroma is light malty, hevily toasty, coffee. Taste is sour and nothing else, only slightly roasted bitterness. Full body, medium carbonation. Little disappointing.

Bottle 0,33l from U Medvídků, Prague. Completely black colored beer. A bit sour aroma of heavily roasted malts, some tones of coffee, chocolate, some old embers from the fireplace. Flavor is fruity sour, some roasted malts tones on background, moderately bitter and coaly aftertaste. Full body.
A bit odd sour stout, not bad.

Bottle @ Pivovarsky Klub, Prague. Pitch black, thick and with a beige-brown foamy head. Roasted malty stout with dark chocolate, espresso, bitter hops, light red fruitiness. Soft mouthfeel, dry finish. Low carbonation, firm body. Very decent RIS.

Poured from a bottle dated 16.12.2014. A thick tarry liquid with rarified head. Aroma of dark chocolate and English Christmas pudding! Delightful taste of well cooked caramel. An enjoyable experience and thanks to the kind person who offered it.
