Bottled, 0.5 l. Clear deep golden colour, medium sized white head with average duration. Malty smell and aroma ruled by biscuit malt escorted by dough and mild herbs. Medium dry, sweetbitter finish. Easy drinkable, pleasant one.

330 ml bottle courtesy of unknown party visitor, left in the fridge next day so might as well rate it, right? Pours clear golden yellow with fairly low white head. Aroma is bready, with hay, cereal and slight metallic undertones. Taste is fairly standard pilsener, light bready sweet at first with a touch of bitterness in the finish. Body is light, with fairly low carbonation.

50cl bottle - This pooped up out of nowhere at my local Rewe as "Breznak Original Böhmisch Pils" and satisfied my exotic beer craving for the night - always event when German supermarkets decide to stoop and cater to that. This reminds me a lot of Staropramen, with a very distinct caramel malt profile, decent spicy hops and oily texture. Shame about the flat, contained metallic aftertaste - this would else do fine for a night as an alternative to German lagers...

330ml can. Light golden with a low white crown. Light malt, grain, caramel with a light bitter and creamy finish. Pretty anonymous.

500 ml bottle, bought in Germany under the name Breznak Original Bohmisch Pils. Poured into a footed pilsner glass. Colour is very deep yellow-golden, with something more of two fingers of foam. White and soapy, with very good retention and heavy lacing left on the glass. A constant stream of bubbles is rising to the surface. Aroma is quite hoppy, but not as much as I would expect from a Czechish pilsner. Some light malt aroma too, along with adjuncts. Rice, maybe? Nice bitter taste. Unfortunately, very metallic at first, along with this adjunct flavour, but it gets much better on the aftertaste where the hops really shine, with a long finish as well. Medium thickness on the body, very dry on the palate and just the right amount of carbonation. I really liked this one, very good.

#74 Ein malzbetontes Bier mit fruchtigen Anklängen. Sehr süffig, obwohl der Hopfen klar zu kurz kommt. Bis auf das bescheidene Etikett der Flasche ein absolut gelungenes Lager.

Does not feel as fresh as many other Czech pilsner. Fully capable of full-bodied flavor and bitterness.
