Draft at Soldaten Svejk. Nice ice cream cone head. Can’t read my notes, but this one was definitely the pick of the lot at Soldaten.

Tap at Soldaten Svejk in Stockholm. The pour, like all beers at this restaurant, is perfection for appearance. Giant ice cream float explosion out of the flute. Infinite, sheen, rocky retention. Big lace. Aroma on this one is peach cobbler and light florals. Taste is really perfection! I’ve been craving Czech pils for a long time and this one does the trick: chewy, butterscotch, peach, sweet orange juice, juicy hop bitterness. Really nice stuff!
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Russo (1056) - Campinas, BRAZIL - MAR 13, 2012
Bottled. Golden color with a very nice whitehead that keeps a lacing until the end. Aroma is malty with some floral hints. Flavor is malty and bitter, awesome! Mouthfeel is refreshing, bitter and a light swetness, lovely!

Bottle. High snow white creamy and lasting head. Beautiful clear golden body. Simple and good barley malt aroma. Good barley malt flavor with a fair amount of hops and carbonation. Long and nice barley malt hops aftertaste. For a pilsener with this alcohol percentage it hardly gets much better.

UPDATED: AUG 21, 2003 Golden beer with a really nice and lasting head. Aroma is metallic. Flavor starts off sweet and has some malt in it. A discreet, very nice finish. A really good czech beer...

Mmmm...
Deep golden. Sweet aroma. Fruity nose. Sweetish, yeasty flavor. The archetype(according to me that is) of a good Czech pilsener. Full initial taste, medium finish. Soft palate feel.
Mmm...look at the man on the label, look at him go! No wonder.
