Hazy brown. Beige, medium foam. Malty aroma. Flavour containing some hints of roasted caramel and malts. Anonymous for its style. The brewer must have been very carefull with the ingredients!

Bottled. Red/brown beer with a small off-white head. Light roasted aroma with toffee. Flavor is round and toffeeish. Lasting, light hoppy finish. Both beers from Baatbryggeriet could use some more punch. (060224)

330 ml bottle. Dark reddish brown. Clear. Almost no head at all, only a few bubbles at the edges of the glass. Bready aroma with notes of chocolate. Subtile and aroma hops. Soft chocolate in the aftertaste. Hopping is gentle and the little bitterness there is balances nicely with the malt sweetness. Nice interpretation of an English brown ale. Great session ale.

Bottle at RBESG grand tasting, August 2005. Amber colour. Dryish, soft malt and nuts. Slightly sharp finish. Nothing wrong with this but a bit dull to be honest.

Fast disappearing head, dark brown body. Mild malt aroma with some chocolate and brown sugar. Thin malty and grassy flavor, tones of chocolate. Ordinary and quite bland.

Cloudy brown, low head.
Earthy notes dominate - a bit of strawberry. Surprisingly light body - watery even.
Earthy berry and roast aftertaste

RBESG 2005, Amber colour with a small white head. Light roasted malty aroma with a faint fruityness and some sweet chcolate notes. Malty flavor with a light caramel sweetness and a bitter finish.
