2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 KnutAlbert (4587) - Oslo, NORWAY - SEP 16, 2006
A rather average beer, watery. More like a lager than a plae ale, really. A pity some micro brewers are more cencerned about the brewing process than the outcome.

Bottle. RBESG, August 2005. Pale gold colour. Indeterminate style. Soft, aromatic hop character on the nose and palate. Slightly citric. All rather understated. Easygoing and pleasant enough, but needs rather more power. Perhaps the brewery is still feeling its way.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Gr0ve (1875) - Oslo, NORWAY - FEB 1, 2006
330 ml bottle. Hazy golden. Almost no head at all, only a little white lace around the rim, but the carbonation is quite lively. Rich, refreshing, sweet malty aroma. Some apple like notes. Aroma is quite enjoyable. Slight yeasty bite. Pouring the beer into a glass made some of the yeast come loose in big chunks. A little of that yeast ended up in the glass, so that might be what causes the yeast bite. Feels a bit thin on the tongue, but there is enough flavour in there to make up for that. Dry creamy mouthfeel. Grassy dry hops in the aftertaste. Subdued hop bitterness.
1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 Jeppe (2633) - Ølbutikken, DENMARK - NOV 25, 2005
Sampled at RBESG 2005. Slightly hazy golden colored, foamy white head. Grass and peas in the aroma with some creamy hints. Sweet flavor with a vague bitterness in the finish. Grass notes. Mild and uninteresting.
